Flotilla sailing holidays: Samos coastline

Flotilla sailing holidays are also possible outside the standard areas near Lefkas (Ionian) or Athens (Saronic). The photo above for instance was taken at Samos on a 14 day sailing itinerary through the Sporades and Dodecanese. Most flotilla companies organise only 7, 10 or 14 day trips. These itineraries - by the way - are not fixed. There are often some days you can sail your own route and then join the fleet again. Moreover, the wind will dictate the actual route of course.
The main flotilla yacht charter bases are Lefkas and Athens/Poros, but Samos, Kos, Rhodes, Corfu, Paros and Skiathos frequently act as flotilla bases too.
