Cyclades honeymoons on motorsailers

The Cyclades cover the largest area in the Aegean Sea of Greece, with literally too many islands to explore and discover in one single sailing vacation. Moreover, with its many treasures both in the form of natural beauty - think of Amorgos, Andros, Santorini or Sifnos - as well as the rich historical importance, these beautiful waters are ideal for romantic honeymoons on motorsailers.
Indeed, these wooden endemic ships are all recent builds with only luxury and comfort in mind, but are still constructed along the same lovely lines that made these vessel both handsome and sea-worthy. The majority of these traditional motorsailers - also known as gullets, goulettes or gulets - can only be chartered as a full charter or private charter and not as a cabin charter, similar to the Turkish version of such honeymoons, which are called blue voyages or blue cruises. On the plus side: the usual superyachts and megayachts are much faster and will cover a lot more terrain in the same amount of vacation days.

With both the options - either with clean styled superyachts or either with romantic motorsailers - you will be able to discover the true beauty of the Cyclades up close. Neither a cruise liner or a ferry will provide this since these larger vessel are only able to visit the larger commercial harbours in the Cyclades, and have to avoid the more lovely and interesting smaller ports.
